Greetings from Growth from a Broken Woman LLC, Our company is staffed by my three beautiful children: a daughter, Kha'Morah (4); two sons, Ahmi (11) and Tre'Shawn (17), as well as myself, Tianda (35). Our purpose is to help people see the light at the end of the tunnel and rediscover who they are when life appears hopeless.

Our Story
Growth from a Broken Woman came after our cousin was killed by the police in September 2018. Tianda felt dark, unhappy, and disconnected from herself; in an effort to find the light at the end of the tunnel, she began going to therapy and counseling. Five months later, Tianda's father passed away. On a car ride, Tre'Shawn, Tianda's 11-year-old, then 17-year-old son, now asked, "Mom, are you going to be sad again like you were when Pat Pat died?" She recalls feeling ashamed, let down, and disappointed, and she assured him that she will never be unhappy like that again. That was when she realized she couldn't disappoint her children again.
In order to assist herself and her family in beginning their road of healing from the pain they were experiencing, finding a means to face the hurdles the world was throwing at them, and seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Tianda continued going to therapy, discovered grieving and healing classes for her children and herself, read a lot of self-help books, listened to podcasts, and did other things to aid them on their healing journey. Tianda was unable to find the journals she desired while searching for them to help her with her wellness. God spoke to her: "Use the things that have been helping you heal and create the journals you need." That is when Growth from a Broken Woman came into existence in July 2023." The journal prompts have helped the author and those she knows and has met improve their emotions and ways of thinking in order to become their best selves.
